Agnes

Sweet, cuddly Agnes arrived at the shelter in early October and immediately won our hearts! She loved everyone she met and would crawl into your lap at any opportunity. We were scratching our heads trying to figure out how she wasn’t snapped up immediately. Turns out it just took a minute for her adopter to come to a point where she was ready after losing her beloved dog. Here’s the story in Michelle’s own words:

“I started volunteering at the shelter after losing my dog earlier this year. I was heartbroken and determined that I was not going to get another dog anytime soon. I really missed my doggie time, though, so I figured volunteering at APS would fill that hole in my heart. I fell in love with Agnes from the moment I met her. It took a while to convince myself, but after visiting my sister-in-law, I drove right to the shelter from Virginia. I cried when I found out she was still available. As you can see from the pictures, she living the spoiled, pampered princess life!”

Thanks for adopting, Michelle, and giving Agnes the life she deserves!!
