Breaking meows: you could win over $85,000 in the Ontario SPCA’s 50/50 Lottery

Stouffville, ON (April 16, 2024) – Imagine what you could do with more than $85,000 if you’re the lucky winner of the Ontario SPCA Spring Draws for Paws 50/50 Lottery! With just over a week left before the Grand Prize draw, time is running out to buy tickets and help animals in need.

The Grand Prize draw takes place on April 25. Tickets can be purchased online at ontariospcalottery.ca and the more tickets sold, the higher the jackpot grows.

As a registered charity that does not receive annual government funding, the Ontario SPCA depends on generous supporters to change the lives of vulnerable animals. By purchasing a ticket in the Spring Draws for Paws 50/50 Lottery, you’re giving the gift of shelter and care for animals in need and helping animals in communities across Ontario.

“Our Draws for Paws 50/50 Lottery is an exciting way to help animals,” says Stephanie Miller, Vice President, Development, Ontario SPCA and Humane Society. “This is the time of year when we see an influx of puppies and kittens, and your support allows us to give them a safe, comfortable place to grow until they are ready to find a loving home.”

This is your last call for tickets. Get yours today at ontariospcalottery.ca

The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society Provincial Office sits on the traditional territory of the Wendat, the Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of Scugog, Hiawatha and Alderville First Nations and the Métis Nation. This territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. The treaties that were signed for this particular parcel of land are collectively referred to as the Williams Treaties of 1923.
